Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Project Control Manager (Energy) to join their client's dynamic team in Hartford County Connecticut. This supervisory role requires a dedicated professional who can manage and oversee large engineering projects effectively, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing all phases of engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating with engineering teams and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  • Communicating project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks effectively.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
  • Traveling domestic and international travel approximately 30% of the time to various project sites.

Required Skills

* Proficiency with project controls software (i.e., Primavera P6, MS Project, cost management tools)

* Strong knowledge of EVM principles

* Familiarity with contract management standards (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).

* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools

* Ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Education/Experience

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field; master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCP, or PRINCE2)

* Six+ years of experience in project controls with EPC projects, preferably in O&G, power generation, renewable energy, or infrastructure industries
